From March 23rd to 25th, the China Cold-Formed Steel Industry Summit Forum hosted by the Cold-Formed Steel Branch of the China Steel Structure Association was successfully held in Suzhou, Jiangsu. ZTZG General Manager Mr. Shi and Marketing Manager Ms. Xie attended the meeting.
The meeting conducted in-depth discussions on the development trend of the cold bending industry and the transformation and upgrading of enterprises under the new situation of high-quality development in the new era and recommended new processes and proposed new directions for the joint promotion of industry progress. Nearly from enterprises in the steel pipe industry chain, more than 200 representatives attended the meeting, which was presided over by Liu Yi, executive vice president of China Steel Structure Association.
Han Jingtao, President of the Cold-Formed Steel Branch of the China Steel Structure Association, gave a main speech on the thinking and practice of technological breakthroughs. He pointed out that square and rectangular steel pipes are the best choice for beams and columns of various structures, so the application fields are very wide. The future development direction of enterprises in the industry is in the field of advanced manufacturing, so how to achieve breakthroughs in key technologies is the core of industrial development.
Peter Shi, General Manager of ZTZG, gave a keynote speech on behalf of the company. He also introduced that under the background of major development strategies such as the Belt and Road Initiative, many new hot fields at home and abroad have a higher demand for high-end products and processes. In the welded pipe equipment manufacturing industry, technology is the core. The original direct squaring process has defects such as thinning of the R corner of the product, inconsistent upper and lower R corners, and cracking of the corner during the molding process; while the conventional Round-to-square process has mold defects caused by the need to replace the mold, storage, high labor intensity, and other issues.
